About the role.
What you'll be doing.
  1. Brand Commercial Strategy & Portfolio Management
    • Develop and execute the short & long-term OOH brand strategy aligned with overall business, consumer & customer objectives
    • Drive value, volume, profitability and share growth across QSR, HoReCa, and Food Service channels
    • Lead annual operating plan (AOP) and brand roadmap - monitor business performance vs forecast
    • Translate business goals into marketing calendar across category activations, occasions and NPDs
    • Identify and build long-term growth platforms within key accounts
    • Own channel-specific P&L levers including pricing strategy, portfolio mix, and margin optimization
    • Manage & optimize media and marketing budget for delivering effective ROI and efficiency to maximize business output
    • Working closely with Sales and Trade marketing team to deliver execution excellence
  2. Key Account Activation & Partnerships
    • Partner with Key Account Managers & Trade Marketing to design and deliver tailored activation plans for top accounts
    • Partner in building joint business plans (JBPs) with strategic QSR & HoReCa partners
    • Lead strategy on menu integration, visibility, and in-store activation initiatives
    • Strengthening McCain's position as a strategic food solutions partner
  3. Campaigns & Demand Generation
    • Conceptualize and execute channel-relevant occasion campaigns to drive demand for frozen category & our portfolio along with brand salience
    • Lead B2B and B2B2C marketing initiatives across touchpoints including on-ground, events & digital, by working along with trade marketing and digital team
    • Create brand and portfolio selling toolkits and assets for teams to drive conversion and upselling
  4. Innovation & Portfolio Expansion
    • Lead innovation pipeline strategy development for OOH, including line extensions, PPA, renovation & white space NPDs
    • Partnering with QSR and HoreCa accounts for insight led innovation partnership leveraging global strengths of McCain on insights and products
    • Collaborate with culinary and R&D teams to develop relevant, scalable solutions and work with the accounts for co-creation & launch
    • Drive end-to-end project management with cross functional leadership to ensure seamless execution from concept to commercialization - partnering with R&D for product development, consumer & customer testing of concept & product, driving cross functional team till commercialization, creating packaging artworks, building launch marketing & sales plan with teams and building post launch review frameworks
  5. Cross Functional Leadership & Business Partnering
    • Partner with Sales, Trade marketing & Category team to translate brand strategy into activation plans and flawless execution of same at all touchpoints
    • Partner with legal, regulatory and R&D to deliver campaign assets and packaging artworks as per guidelines
    • Partner with supply chain for demand planning, smooth commercialization of new packs, changeover of artworks, etc.
    • Collaborate with global & regional teams on strategy alignment and sharing of AOP

What you'll need to be successful.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing with 7-8 years of experience in Brand Marketing in FMCG or Food Service industry - Ideal candidate to have 1-2 years of Sales experience and 5-6 years of marketing experience across brand activation & innovation
  • Experience in global organizations with exposure to reapplying best in class ideas from other parts of the world, working with global stakeholders to advocate for what India needs, while being a strong advocate of the local consumer and business in a collaborative manner.
  • Experience working with QSR chains, HoReCa, or Food Service channels is highly preferred (B2B marketing)
  • Demonstrated strong commercial savvy- understands P&L, translates insight/strategy to measurable business impact. Should have done business delivery roles in addition to marketing roles.
  • Experience in managing NPD end-to-end with cross functional teams with structured project management
  • Experience in conducting different types of research with operators and consumers, data-scraping via multiple secondary sources & translating insights into strong action plans
  • Skilled in packaging brief, design & artwork development
  • Skilled in agency and stakeholder management from writing concepts & briefs to ensuring excellent creative output by driving collaboration
  • Core competencies include strategic thinking, consumer & customer needs centric mindset, creativity, analytical ability, business focus and strong leadership skills (influential & excellent communicator)

  • This role acts as a bridge between clients, and internal leadership, ensuring smooth execution of sales strategies and branding.
