The Business Analyst will analyze Basel III Credit Risk regulations, translate them into requirements, engage stakeholders, ensure compliance, and support regulatory implementations.
- Analyze and interpret Basel III Credit Risk regulations and translate them into clear business/system requirements.
- Partner with compliance, risk, and IT teams to ensure regulatory alignment in system and process changes.
- Document and validate business requirements, functional specifications, and regulatory interpretations.
- Engage with stakeholders across front office, risk, compliance, and technology to drive regulatory implementation.
- Track and monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts on existing processes and systems.
- Support testing, validation, and implementation phases to ensure compliance with regulatory mandates.
- Provide insights and recommendations for regulatory strategy, governance, and reporting frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Basel III reforms (Credit Risk regulations).
Proven experience in business analysis within financial services or consulting firms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to convert complex regulatory requirements into structured system/business requirements.
Familiarity with MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore), HKMA (Hong Kong Monetary Authority), and BNM (Bank Negara Malaysia) regulations.
Experience with Moody’s Risk Authority or similar risk systems.
Exposure to regulatory reporting, credit risk modeling, or compliance transformation programs.
