Job Description:

Medline International is looking to hire an experienced QAD functional consultant. This is a position where your responsibilities will include supporting European business users with their daily functions, and contribute in reducing legacy customization with standard QAD. You will be required to map user’s requirements with standard QAD solutions. This full-time role will be part of Medline's Information Services Department.
Some roles and responsibilities

·    Support the European business through implementing and maintaining QAD-related functionality with standard QAD or (if justifiable) through developing customizations
·       Contribute in reducing the number of intrusive customizations and replace them with QAD standard functionalities
·       Support business users on day-to-day basis to carry out daily functions, including issue resolution and/or enhancements
·       Experience of working closely with functional leaders at Operational Level.
·       Can collaborate and work closely with QAD and/or other areas/teams.
·       Contribute in Business process change or optimization
·       Ensure quality and documentation around the projects that get handed over to support

Skills / Experience:
Required:
·       Minimum of 5 years working experience on QAD (and Mfg/Pro)
·       A broad range of QAD knowledge especially in functional areas like Finance, Supply chain, Sales & Distribution.
·       Hands-on experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE).
·       Good knowledge of QAD product to configure/setup catering to business needs.
·       An analytical approach to problem solving.
·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional skills
·       A strong let’s-do-it attitude
·       Experience in healthcare domain or Distribution business.
·       Someone who understand QAD tools like Excelerator, EDI maps, would be good value-add.
·       Pro-active attitude and proposing improvements where applicable
·       Likes working independently on multiple assignments simultaneously
·       Ability to collaborate and coordinate with QAD development and/or technical team.
·       Basic Progress OpenEdge programming skills.
·       Experience with Scrum or Agile way of working.
