As a Business Analyst - Senior Associate - Global Payments Strategy within our Global Operations team, you will be responsible for promoting critical platform modernization initiatives for the APAC Region. This role provides an opportunity to work closely with our Product and Technology teams to define strategic payment flows. You will be expected to work independently in a complex and dynamic environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. Your role will involve defining business requirements, performing impact analysis, and ensuring thorough testing of all capabilities. This is a chance to influence the future state of our business model and contribute to our ongoing growth and success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements for development and commercialization of product capabilities.
- Understand existing platform capabilities and define globally consistent requirements to cater to the capabilities taking into consideration regional, country, clearing specific nuances.
- Cover functional and non-functional requirements including but not limited to Product features, Operational requirements, Regulatory and Compliance requirements, User Interface, Client reporting, Sanctions, Resiliency and Scalability. The requirements must be able to cater to current expectations and allow scalability for future changes in business model.
- Articulate and document end to end process flows including customer interactions and Operations intervention.
- Partner closely with Product and Technology partners to help define globally consistent platform architecture
- Perform impact analysis for business initiatives to determine key business groups that will consequently be required to undergo technical or operational process change
- Work with UAT team to determine the testing strategy and ensure thorough testing of all capabilities
- Tracking the overall progress of the initiatives to provide periodic updates to Senior Management teams. Identify potential red flags and work on resolution collaborating with the stakeholder.
- Drive Operations readiness to support implementation and migration of flows and volumes.
- Perform defect analysis , prioritization and exploring alternative solutions
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong Payments knowledge and / or prior experience in driving large scale strategic projects and Business Analyst skills
- Strong Project management skills and ability to work independently, Well versed with driving projects under Agile methodology
- Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strategic thinker with ability to define future state business model and drive execution to that effect.
- Ability to multi-task and manage and deliver competing priorities
- Attention to detail with logical thought process
- Self-motivated, tenacious with excellent time management/prioritization skills
- Experience in designing, delivering & presenting executive level content
- Adept at working in matrix organization and dynamic high performance teams
- Leverages the organization to deliver results quickly
