- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for data and analytics solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear functional and data requirements for development and architecture teams.
- Analyse and interpret large, complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports that measure key performance indicators and support business decision-making.
- Support data migration, data quality, and data governance initiatives in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
- Contribute to the development of data models, pipelines, and visualisation frameworks on platforms such as Azure, Databricks, or Power BI.
- Evaluate existing data processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance scalability, efficiency, and data accuracy.
- Assist in developing data strategies, roadmaps, and reference documentation to guide long-term analytical initiatives.
- Work cross-functionally with solution architects, data engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment between business outcomes and technical execution.
- Communicate analytical findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to best practices in business analysis and data analytics.
- 6–10 years of experience in Business Analysis and Data Analytics, preferably within enterprise or consulting environments.
- Proven experience working on data-driven transformation or digital initiatives.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Python (for analysis).
- Working knowledge of Azure Data Platform, Databricks, or other cloud data ecosystems is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and data modelling concepts.
- Experience in translating business strategy into actionable data initiatives.
- Ability to elicit and document requirements using user stories, process flows, and data mapping techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business functions.
- Understanding of GDPR and data privacy best practices.
- Experience working with global, cross-functional, and agile delivery teams.
