This position plays a critical role in expanding the company's green energy portfolio and achieving annual revenue and capacity targets.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Business Development & Sales Strategy

· Build, maintain, and leverage networks within industrial zones, commercial hubs, and utility stakeholders.
· Develop tailored commercial proposals based on client energy profiles, tariffs, consumption behaviour, and operational needs.
· Manage the full sales cycle — prospecting → proposal → negotiation → closure — to achieve annual revenue and capacity targets.
· Track and optimize key KPIs such as lead pipeline progress, conversion ratios, and overall sales cycle efficiency.
Regulatory Knowledge & Compliance
· Maintain a strong understanding of regional power‑sector regulations across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, including:

· Coordinate with regulatory authorities for open‑access applications, PPAs, wheeling agreements, and related approvals.
Renewable Energy Procurement & Commercial Structuring
· Structure and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) tailored to industrial and commercial customers.
· Evaluate renewable procurement options such as:
o On‑site and off‑site renewable PPAs
o Virtual PPAs
o Bundled renewable‑energy certificates
o Sleeved or third‑party supply models
· Integrate sustainability elements such as carbon‑reduction targets, REC utilization strategies, and green‑energy frameworks.
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
· Analyze market dynamics, tariff variations, demand trends, and regulatory changes across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
· Benchmark competitor offerings, including tariff strategies, contract structures, and value‑added renewable‑energy services.
· Identify and develop new business segments such as large industrial clusters, commercial parks, captive power consumers, and emerging green‑energy markets.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management
· Maintain strong working relationships with utilities, DISCOMs, government agencies (e.g., SERC), and energy consultants.
· Leverage industry connections to drive repeat business and expand existing customer portfolios.
· Work closely with internal teams — legal, technical, financial — to prepare commercially and regulatory‑compliant proposals.
Project Oversight & Execution
· Oversee execution of signed contracts, ensuring smooth processing of open‑access permissions, scheduling, and billing.
· Address operational challenges such as energy scheduling issues, metering discrepancies, or curtailment events.
· Ensure customers receive contracted renewable‑energy deliveries and sustainability benefits.
Reporting, Forecasting & Commercial Strategy
· Generate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, revenue projections, and performance dashboards.
· Support pricing decisions, tariff modeling, and preparation of competitive commercial terms for RFP responses.
· Provide strategic insights to senior leadership on market opportunities, regulatory developments, and portfolio expansion strategies.
