Job Description
Should be a self-directed, highly motivated team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, Innovative aptitude, and technical problem-solving skills and should be able to handle Full vehicle and subassembly level (IP, Bumpers) Durability/Stiffness load-cases in Abaqus/Nastran using, ANSA/META, Interpret analysis results, make a detailed report, Prepare Scripts for Automation of pre and post-processing tasks to improve efficiency, propose countermeasures to improve the design and meet Strength and Stiffness targets of the vehicle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Mesh Model Building and assembly
- IP, Console, Door Trims, Pillar trims, Latches, Dog house, Heat Stakes, Snaps, Clip towers, Vibe welds, Ultrasonic welds.
- Shell meshing, Solid meshing skills for complex features and shapes of parts. Knowledge of Kinematic Joints, Connectivity, Attachments their Deg of Freedom for Modal analysis and stiffness Analysis.
- NVH and Linear-Static / non-linear-Static – Abaqus, Optistruct and LS Dyna
- NVH Modal Analysis
- Frequency Response Function (FRF) –
- Static Functional and Abuse loads vs deflection study.
- IP/Console/Door Panel Rigidity analysis.
- IP/ Console Quality of Feel
- Vibration as per JIS1601
- Longitudinal and Lateral Rigidity of Console
- Door Stiffness Analysis – Map Pocket, Pull cup, Grab Handle, Armrest, Static pressure
