Cloud Container-Operations Support-Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments.

  • Develop and maintain Docker container images and orchestrate containerized applications.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.

  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.

  • Ensure security best practices in container and cluster configurations.

  • Collaborate with development teams to optimise application deployment and scalability.

  • Maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes.

Qualifications

Linux Systems Administration (SUSE Linux Enterprise, RedHat, CENTOS, Ubuntu)

• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and cloud platforms

  • Automation and scripting expertise ( Shell Scripting, Ansible ) 

   

Containerization & Orchestration

• Strong hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes

  • Proficient in Kubernetes administration: installation, configuration, pod management, API server interaction, deployments, config maps, secrets, volumes/storage, networking, ingress, and RBAC/security. Rancher, ArgoCD, Longhorn,etc.

  • Familiarity with Rancher, Longhorn, ArgoCD, and related tools.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Docker and container lifecycle management.
