Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes.
Optimize caching strategies using Akamai for high-performance delivery.
Manage and automate deployments on Linode and other cloud environments.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security across environments.
Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Must-Have Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (DevOps Engineer).
Skills
Caching & Performance:
Experience with Akamai CDN and caching strategies.
Familiarity with edge delivery and content acceleration.
Infrastructure Management:
Experience deploying and managing workloads on Linode.
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Cloud Platforms:
Proven experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, storage, and compute services.
Containerization & Orchestration:
Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes operators.
CI/CD & Automation:
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
Experience
• 6+ years of experience leading outsourced or offshore DevOps teams
• Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in production environments
Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills
Education
Prior experience in high-traffic, mission-critical production environments.
Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.
Skills
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
Familiarity with serverless architectures and FaaS.
Exposure to security tools and practices (e.g., Vault, IAM policies).
Knowledge of cost optimization strategies across cloud platforms.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures
Experience with cost optimization and cloud billing management
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
