Summary:
As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes planning and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and deliver high performance. The position requires coordinating with various teams to align migration strategies with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in driving innovative cloud adoption to support next-generation business outcomes.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and execution of migration plans ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall expertise and performance.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide regular updates on migration progress.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful cloud migration.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle Database Cloud Services, Oracle Database Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for database environments.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and services related to database management.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and provide effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
