Morningstar is seeking a Compliance Associate based in Bucharest to join the Global Compliance Department, reporting to the Compliance Officer, Policies & Procedures and Training (PP&T), Global Controls Compliance Department who is based in London.
The successful candidate will support the Policies & Procedures and Training (PP&T) team in general functions and other PP&T priorities and initiatives as appropriate.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of the enhanced policy governance process and data validation.
  • Assist with the Legal and Compliance training management and reporting.
  • Work with other Morningstar Legal and Compliance colleagues to carry out the PP&T OKRs.
  • Manage relationships with colleagues when executing the work of the PP&T team.
  • Support awareness campaigns for employees as part of the overall effort to foster a firm-wide culture of compliance.
  • Assist the Head of Policies & Procedures and Training, Global Controls Compliance in other work streams or projects, as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Experience with corporate policies, procedures, and/or a training program a plus.
  • Graduate degree in related discipline (law, finance, business).
  • Meticulousness and attentiveness to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English, other languages are considered a powerful plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and in an international team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Innovation and independence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Efficiency, organization and team spirit.
