As a Consumer Banking - Field Expense and Headcount Reporting and Analytics - Analyst within the Consumer Banking Field Finance team, you will support the Consumer and Business Banking sub-lob by offering Performance and Financial Reporting and Analytics, Planning and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance management teams.

As a Consumer Banking - Field Expense and Headcount Reporting and Analytics - Analyst within the Consumer Banking Field Finance team, you will support the Consumer and Business Banking sub-lob by offering Performance and Financial Reporting and Analytics, Planning and Analysis services to various internal customers including Finance and Business Management leads and field finance management teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce Field Expense and Headcount performance review materials, monthly P&A decks to an audience that includes senior business management leads, Business Leaders heading various levels within the Branch network hierarchy.
- Perform various Expense reporting, Hierarchy management and adhoc tasks related to branch expenses and headcount analytics.
- Provide commentary and insights on business performance facilitating discussions on exceptions in trends and other focus areas and bringing the same to management attention.
- Play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new reporting decks for tracking and driving performance around various field initiatives.
- Support the Field expense and headcount agenda during budget and forecast cycles
- Support multiple ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior Management in line with their expectations. The adhocs range from understanding and commenting on trends in performance to deep dives that help provide insights to business about field performance including progress on key strategic initiatives.
- Constantly look at opportunities to automate existing reports.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- MBA (Finance) with 3+ years of post-qualification experience with specialized experience in Financial Planning and Analysis, Business Finance, performance reporting and analytics, metric/business scorecards.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and partnering skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong team player and ability to work with various diverse finance and business management teams.
- Ability to multi-task and work autonomously within team environment.
- Ability to research issues/problems and provide a 'solution-based' approach.
- Adaptable to change and ambiguity in the work environment.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint (i.e. use of pivot tables, macros, arrays, etc)
- Strong knowledge of Essbase
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Working knowledge of any ETL/Analytical/BI tools e.g. Alteryx, Tableau etc is beneficial however not mandatory.
- Shift timings - 2.00 pm - 11.00 pm
