JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Research Analyst -Japanese Language, is responsible for the maintenance of database administration and sourcing of the Financial Markets exchange and contributed data for ESG content, mostly reported in Japanese Language. Support other staff or be responsible for the contributor relationship between the company and the local exchange, contributor or data supplier for day-to-day operations. Responsible for ensuring that relevant data is maintained and delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
Essential day to day responsibilities

● Translate, analyze and update ESG related data points for both Japanese and English documents.

● Process and maintain ESG data accurately and in a timely manner on ESG database for English and Japanese language reported companies.

● Responsible for delivering high productivity and quality data as per expected performance standards

● Work effectively within teams, proactively identifying and resolving problems. Communicate & collaborate closely with internal and external data contributors/stakeholders for resolution of data queries, including direct contact with customers.

● Supports Integration projects, as assigned by the Team Leader.

● To continuously find ways to improve quality and reduce number of service requests from clients and to help meet Service targets.

● To continuously suggest improvement ideas on collection tools, internal processes and should suggest permanent fixes as well as on-going actions for preventing client queries. To carry out special projects or specialized tasks related to the ESG dataset as per the strategic plans.

● To effectively collaborate with all distributed team and the data provider to deliver high quality data to our clients. Cultivate a learning and positive work environment. Proactively identify, call out and resolve data problems.

• Researching on Company website, Filings to understand the reports and to be able to accurate identify the data to be captured.

• Should have the curiosity to learn and know more on the content.

• Should have reading comprehension skills to read the paragraphs and dotted lines in the report.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexible and able to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks

• Self-motivated even when attending to routine tasks
