Summary:
Responsible for Content capturing for Engineering Standards & Regulatory Data offered within Accuris Engineering products.
Job Duties:
- Day to day monitoring and downloading of Engineering & Regulatory content from supplier websites and FTP sites such as IEEE, UL, British Standards (BSI) etc.
- Capturing Information related to Engineering documents into Accuris content repositories such as Document name, Publication date, Title, Pricing information, Reference etc.
- Responsible for meeting individual production and quality targets on a regular basis
- Responsible for maintaining high degree of content quality by following documentation & SOP's that describe data capture rules.
- Responsible for meeting SLAs for day-to-day task
Other Skills & Preferences:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to pay attention to details.
- Familiarity with Engineering Standards & Specifications or Regulatory Standards is a definite plus. Examples: IEEE, UL, British Standards (BSI)
- Experience or familiarity with automated content sourcing and capturing in any industry is a definite plus.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat tool is a plus.
- Familiarity with MS Excel tools is a definite plus.
- Experience or familiarity in converting documents from MS Word to other formats is a definite plus.
- Willingness to work occasional evening hours from home or office.
Required Education & Experience:
- B.Sc. (Electronics)
- 0-1 year of experience (preferred).
