Contract Management: You excel at overseeing contract creation, execution, and analysis to ensure compliance, negotiate favorable terms, and mitigate business risks throughout the deal lifecycle.

About this role
The Contract Specialist serves as a trusted partner to the Sales organization, supporting complex deal structuring, non-standard contract scenarios, and end-to-end quote-to-cash (QTC) processes. This role builds on the operational foundation of contract management and focuses on facilitating high-quality deal execution, maintaining process rigor, and optimizing cross-functional workflows. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, a process thinker, and a confident liaison between Sales, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations.
What you'll be doing
- Serve as the go-to Deal Desk advisor for a designated sales region, guiding sales representatives on optimal deal structures, quoting, and order form creation
- Manage non-standard deal requests such as Amend & Extend, Rip and Replace, Non-Annual Ramp, and Split Billing to ensure alignment with revenue recognition and business policies
- Support the Managed Deals Program by participating in deal reviews and ensuring compliance throughout the approval and booking process
- Act as a subject matter expert on order management processes, ensuring deal structures align with operational capabilities and downstream system dependencies
- Review and route complex deal approval requests, coordinating with Finance, Legal, and leadership for timely resolution
- Identify potential risks related to revenue recognition, approval routing, or booking accuracy, taking proactive steps to remediate compliance gaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and resolve recurring quote-to-cash errors, process bottlenecks, or exceptions
- Conduct user acceptance testing for quote-to-cash system enhancements, providing structured feedback on functionality and business impact
What you'll have
- Experience in Enterprise SaaS, B2B, or related field, preferably in Deal Desk, Order Management, or Finance Operations
- Deep working experience with Salesforce and familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles such as ASC 606 or similar frameworks
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify process gaps and compliance issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively across Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams
- Comfort working in high-volume, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office tools
- Proven ability to support process improvement initiatives and document business logic for team enablement
