Role Description

The CRM Developer & Data Analyst will be responsible for administering and enhancing MS Dynamics CRM, developing Power Platform solutions, and delivering Power BI reporting to support Commercial Office objectives.

This role ensures accurate commercial data capture, workflow automation, system integration, and high-quality reporting that enables governance adherence, sales performance visibility, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will combine technical CRM development capability with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.

Organisational Design


Key Responsibilities

1. MS Dynamics CRM Administration & Enhancement

  • Maintain, configure, and enhance MS Dynamics CRM to align with Commercial Office standards.

  • Design and manage custom entities, fields, workflows, business rules, and security roles.

  • Ensure accurate commercial data capture and structured pipeline management.

  • Monitor system performance, data integrity, and user adoption.

  • Implement enhancements aligned to governance and reporting requirements.

2. Power Platform Development (Power Apps & Power Automate)

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps to streamline sales and commercial processes.

  • Build and optimize Power Automate workflows to reduce manual effort and improve governance adherence.

  • Ensure stability, scalability, and reliability of automation solutions.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver enhancements within agreed timelines.

3. Power BI Reporting & Data Visualization

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and data models.

  • Provide real-time visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, and commercial KPIs.

  • Translate complex datasets into intuitive visualizations and actionable insights.

  • Ensure timely delivery of reporting updates to support management decision-making.

4. Data Quality & Compliance Management

  • Validate, cleanse, and maintain CRM data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Align CRM data standards with Commercial Office governance policies.

  • Implement controls to ensure compliance-by-design within workflows and reporting structures.

  • Monitor data completeness and resolve discrepancies proactively.

5. Data Integration & Process Automation

  • Support integration of MS Dynamics CRM with internal systems (e.g., reporting pipelines, forecasting tools, finance systems).

  • Work within IT governance guidelines to ensure secure and compliant system integrations.

  • Drive automation initiatives that reduce manual processes and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Measure and report automation impact (e.g., hours saved, processes streamlined).

6. Documentation, Testing & Release Management

  • Prepare functional and technical documentation for CRM configurations and Power Platform solutions.

  • Conduct testing (UAT support, regression testing) before deployment of enhancements.

  • Manage change requests and support controlled release cycles.

  • Provide ongoing operational support and issue resolution for CRM users.

  • Promote tool adoption and best practices across Commercial teams.

 

 

Experience required

  • 4–8+ years of experience in MS Dynamics CRM administration or development.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

  • Experience in CRM data modelling, workflow automation, and reporting frameworks.

  • Proficiency in SQL, data transformation, and dashboard development.

  • Understanding of sales processes, commercial governance, and pipeline reporting.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage stakeholders and deliver solutions in cross-functional environments.

  • Microsoft Dynamics / Power Platform certifications.

  • Experience working in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments.

  • Exposure to sales operations or commercial office functions.
