CRM Engineer

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

As a CRM Engineer, you will design, develop, and execute testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, and continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, to ensure software quality and reliability. 

To be a successful CRM Engineer, you should have experience of:

• Development, design and deployment experience in Siebel, Salesforce platform Solution designing experience, Siebel EAI hands-on knowledge, Siebel Development, Siebel to Salesforce migration experience.

• Clear understanding of security terminology and concepts including encryption, data protection, privacy principles, data integrity, Security protocols (HTTP/S, TLS, OAuth), Translate business and regulatory requirements into well-structured tech integration solutions along with design and development.

• Solid understanding of CRM (Siebel & Salesforce) data models & business processes. Understanding of CRM integration with upstream and downstream banking systems. Ensure alignment with banking guidelines, regulatory standards and internal governance.

• Drive consistency in design, integration and development across multiple platforms. Review solutions approached to ensure scalability, security and maintainability. Strong communication skills across tech and non-tech audiences.

• Provide guidance / directions to delivery team; ability to engage senior business, risk, compliance and tech stakeholders. Basic Database knowledge. (Oracle, MS SQL)

Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:

• Basic knowledge of ADP or document generation engines. Understanding of responsible AI usage, Data privacy, Awareness of AI-Driven use cases. Basic knowledge of AWS.
