Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that the applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will also participate in discussions to refine project goals and contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle, ensuring that the applications are user-friendly and efficient.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Mentor junior professionals to foster their growth and development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
- AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS): Proficiency in AEMaaCS including Oak index management, Content Transfer Tool (CTT) migration, dispatcher configuration, and cloud-native customisation constraints.
- AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS): Proficiency in EDS including custom block authoring, Helix/Franklin architecture, performance optimisation, and integration with AEM Universal Editor.
- AI-Assisted Development: Proficient use of GitHub Copilot and Claude for complex code generation, architecture design assistance, automated unit test generation, and AEM-specific documentation authoring.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong understanding of web content management systems.
- Experience in developing and deploying scalable applications.
- Proficient in integrating third-party services and APIs.
- Solid grasp of user experience design principles.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
