Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and processes to support clients and projects effectively. The work includes collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure that software solutions align with project goals and contribute to the overall success of the entity. The position demands adaptability and a proactive approach to managing software development tasks from inception through deployment and maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration into project workflows.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Experience in customizing and integrating product lifecycle management tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues within enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline software configuration tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
