Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your day will involve applying your knowledge of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients and projects, ensuring that the software solutions meet the required specifications and quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement innovative solutions, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Prepare a Defect Management process involving labels to use, wrong assignments process along with assigning and reporting -Create JIRA Dashboards/Structures for Defect Management -Analyze failures using logs (logcat, bugreports) and coordinate fixes with relevant teams. -Ensure all defects go through the Defect/Bug Life Cycle. -Defect reporting to the relevant stakeholders Professional & Technical Skills: -Knowledge in SDLC-software development life cycle including CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/Gerrit -Expert knowledge in Defect triaging- setting priority, knowing severity and assigning to relevant teams -Experience in analysis of logs using any analysis tools like DLT Viewer -Expertise in Functional Test Planning -Expert knowledge on Defect/Bug Life cycle -Good hands-on Agile mode of working -Should possess good hands-on JIRA/Rally etc or any other test/defect management tool -Providing regular defect reports to the relevant stakeholders-clients and Product Owners Good To have: -Good to understand Android System Architecture Additional Information: -8+ years of Experience in Testing and Defect Management -Degree in Computer Science/Information Science. -This position is open for across location.
