Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will engage in problem-solving discussions and contribute to the overall success of the projects by leveraging your expertise in application development. Roles & Responsibilities: • Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines using PySpark and SQL in Databricks to handle large-scale data transformations and batch/streaming workloads. • Design and Implement ETL Processes by leveraging Databricks notebooks, Delta Lake, and PySpark -based custom scripts for data ingestion and curation. • Collaborate with Data Analysts and Stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver accurate, performant, and reusable data solutions. • Maintain and Monitor Job Performance, identify bottlenecks and apply tuning techniques to improve pipeline efficiency on the Databricks platform. ________________________________________ Professional & Technical Skills : • Experience in application development and deployment in Azure environments. • Proficient in building scalable, distributed data pipelines using PySpark and Databricks with an understanding of DataFrame APIs, and Spark optimization techniques. • Experience on PySpark for scripting, data manipulation, and integrating third-party libraries within data engineering workflows. • Expertise in SQL for data extraction, transformation, joins, and performance tuning across relational and distributed data stores. • Good understanding of Data warehousing/ ETL concepts. • Experience on working with Azure Data Lake Storage(ADLS). • Good to have: experience in Scala. • Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes. • Best practices in CI/CD, code versioning (Git), and DevOps for data projects. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Azure Analytics Services. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
