Summary:
As a software Engineer, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your day will involve applying your knowledge of various technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to effectively support clients and projects, ensuring that the software solutions meet the required specifications and quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address challenges and implement innovative solutions, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.
Roles and Responsibilities:
-1st and 2nd Level Defect Analysis in an Android Automotive Infotainment System
-Triaging, setting priorities and attribution of Defects to Teams
-Maintaining Defects in accordance with SDLC under constraint of CI/CD/CT
-Continuous Improvement of Defect Analysis via. AI, Scripting, Documentation.
-Regular defect reporting to the relevant stakeholders-clients and Product Owners
Professional and Technical Skills:
-Expert in Android (AAOS/AOSP)
-Expert in analysis of logs using any analysis tools like DLT Viewer
-Advanced in Agile Development
-Advanced in Version Control Tools (e.g. Git, Gerrit)
-Advanced in C++ 11,14,17
-Fundamentals in Linux Development
-Fundamentals with CI/CD/CT Pipelines
-Fundamentals in Core Java
-Fundamentals in Middleware Solution and OS Concepts
-Fundamentals in Software Defect Lifecycle
-Fundamentals in Experience in Service binding, IPC communication and thread handling.
-Fundamentals in Multi-Threaded Programming
-Self organized
-Quick decision making in changing contexts
-Good Communication skills regarding stakeholders, different teams POs and disciplines in the project
-Negotiation/Mediation Skills
-Attending meetings with Po s and Project Managers for reports
-Experience in Automotive Environment preferable
-Experience with following Tools: Jira, DLT, Gerrit.
Additional Information:
-3 plus years of Experience in Testing and Defect Management
-In-depth Knowledge of AOSP/AAOS
-Degree in Computer Science/Information Science.
-This position is open for across location.
