Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, your day typically involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. You will engage in designing tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes and objectives. Your role includes analyzing requirements, contributing to the architectural design, and ensuring that the applications developed effectively support the intended business functions. Throughout the day, you will participate in discussions to refine application features and work towards delivering solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Assist in the documentation and communication of application design specifications.
- Support the testing and validation of software components to ensure quality and functionality.
- Continuously update knowledge on emerging technologies to suggest improvements in software design.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Kronos.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on software customization and integration.
- Experience in application design and development lifecycle.
- Ability to work with business process models and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with software debugging and troubleshooting techniques.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Kronos.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
