Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring software applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver efficient and effective software solutions that support business operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Ab Initio.
- Strong knowledge of data integration and transformation techniques.
- Experience in designing scalable and maintainable software solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex application workflows.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Ab Initio.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
