Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing software solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly within the existing infrastructure. You will also participate in testing and debugging processes, ensuring that the final product meets quality standards and user expectations. Your role will require you to stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve application performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with application performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.
- Experience in integrating applications with databases and other systems.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques for mainframe applications.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
