Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized software applications. This role requires taking ownership of projects by coordinating efforts across various teams and stakeholders, ensuring that solutions are tailored to meet specific business needs. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration to address challenges and drive the successful delivery of software components, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain clear and consistent documentation of application design and configuration changes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize workflows and processes.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to foster professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex Back Office Workflows, Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Murex Connectivity 2.0.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software configuration management.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex software issues within financial systems.
- Ability to work with integration tools and middleware to ensure seamless connectivity between systems.
- Familiarity with workflow automation and process optimization techniques.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Murex Back Office Workflows.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
