Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand their structure and functionality. The role includes designing solutions tailored to client requirements, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve existing systems. Collaboration with different teams and managing multiple client projects are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that software components meet the desired standards and function seamlessly within the broader application environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to maintain smooth delivery.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Strong knowledge of system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Experience in managing SAP system landscapes, including client administration and transport management.
- Ability to monitor system performance and implement tuning measures to optimize operations.
- Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Skilled in coordinating with cross-functional teams to support SAP infrastructure and application needs.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
