Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, followed by assisting in the definition of detailed requirements. The role includes designing tailored software applications that align with specific business processes and objectives. Throughout the day, there is a focus on ensuring that the solutions developed effectively address the intended application requirements, while maintaining clear communication with team members and contributing to the overall project progress.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of software design and development processes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Amazon Redshift, Python (Programming Language), GitHub, Scala.
- Experience in designing and optimizing data warehousing solutions using Amazon Redshift.
- Strong knowledge of database management and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly GitHub, for collaborative development.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python and Scala.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Amazon Redshift.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
