Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Key Responsibilities
1. Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements
2. Expertise in IDOCs/DATEX configuration and customization
3. Experience and understanding of the Switch Documents and Process Documents objects in SAP ISU.
4. Analyze business requirements and provide functional/technical solutions in SAP IS-U IDEX.
5. Configure and support market communication processes for deregulated utility markets.
6. Work on inbound and outbound market messages using IDOCs, XML, and DATEX.
7. Support integration between SAP IS-U, SAP EDM, and external utility systems.
8. Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for IDEX-related issues and interfaces.
9. Participate in testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT support.
10. Prepare functional and technical documentation for developments and enhancements.
11. Support production issues, incident management, and change requests.
12. Experience in enhancement frameworks, user exits, BADIs, and custom ABAP developments related to IS-U.
13. Understanding of utility retail deregulation and supplier switching processes.
14. Knowledge of smart meter integration and meter data communication processes.

3. Techno-Functional Consultant
4. Understanding of the Smart metering offerings of SAP
5. Understanding of US Utilities market processes
