Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs, then translating those needs into well-structured application designs. The role includes actively participating in the planning and development phases to ensure that the software solutions align with organizational goals. Throughout the day, the engineer engages in problem-solving activities, refining application features, and supporting the team in delivering high-quality software that enhances business processes. This position requires a proactive approach to managing tasks and contributing to continuous improvement within the project environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for software development.
- Assist in the documentation and communication of application design specifications.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and testing activities to ensure software quality and compliance.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management.
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles and workflows.
- Ability to customize and configure ServiceNow modules to meet specific business needs.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within ServiceNow environments.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs related to ServiceNow platforms.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
