The Team:

This position will be a member of the Strategy & Innovation group, providing direct support to our Labs unit. As part of Strategy & Innovation, Celonis Labs operates as an independent research and development unit within Celonis, dedicated to innovating business models and investigating new concepts and prototypes that complement the Celonis platform.

This position is based in our Madrid office with hybrid work model. 

The Role:

As a Customer Innovation Project Coordinator at Celonis, you'll play a crucial role in validating our innovations with customers and building a vibrant and collaborative innovation community. You'll work closely with the Strategic Customer Innovation Senior Manager as well as Product Managers and Solution Owners, providing crucial operational support for incubation projects with our most strategic customers.

You'll be at the heart of innovation, helping to transform concepts and prototypes into validated solutions. This involves creating alignment across our Strategy & Innovation (S&I), Go-to-Market (GTM), and customer stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include project coordination, managing follow-ups, tracking opportunities, preparing essential documentation, and driving overall project logistics across the whole lifecycle of innovation validation, including supporting the pipeline generation.

The work you’ll do:

  • Customer Engagement & Coordination: Coordinate customer engagement activities, including follow-ups, scheduling, outreach, and tracking progress across multiple innovation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Enablement: Support the enablement of internal stakeholders by ensuring all parties have the necessary materials, access, and context to collaborate in the creation of a customer incubation pipeline. 
  • Documentation & Reporting: Document and maintain records of validation & incubation progress, customer touchpoints, learnings, and internal decisions to ensure transparency and continuity.
  • Cross-functional Project Management: Drive efficient cross-functional project management by setting up trackers, organising meetings, capturing action items, and diligently monitoring timelines.
  • Alignment & Communication: Manage alignment documentation between S&I, GTM, and customer-facing teams to ensure consistent communication and strategic focus.
  • Scale your Area: Create templates, frameworks, and dashboards that streamline internal processes to enable stakeholders and scale the incubation operating model.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of incubation processes through constructive feedback and active collaboration with the innovation team.

The qualifications you need:

  • As this is a customer-facing role, solid experience in presentation skills at customers up to senior leadership level is a must
  • 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, customer success, or a similar support function in a tech-driven environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in coordinating across teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools like Google Sheets, Google Slides, and project management tools (e.g. Monday, Jira).
  • Experience supporting customer-facing initiatives or working closely with commercial or innovation teams.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to synthesise information into actionable insights or documentation.
  • Affinity for technology, innovation, and agile ways of working.
  • University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar
