In This RoleIn this role, you will help drive and deliver key marketplace features that power a global gaming ecosystem. You will manage schedules, track milestones, and coordinate across engineering, design, and production teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery. This position blends project management discipline with a deep understanding of game systems and player experience, ensuring marketplace features are stable, scalable, and aligned with business and community goals.
ResponsibilitiesDrive definition, alignment, and execution of marketplace technology initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
Author clear and detailed functional specifications, technical documentation, and production plans.
Build and maintain schedules and milestones; ensure teams understand deliverables and drive completion through all phases of development.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and product teams to balance technical feasibility, creative vision, and player impact.
Anticipate risks and dependencies early, escalating or resolving issues before they affect delivery timelines.
Lead cross-disciplinary meetings, manage communication channels, and maintain transparency with all partners.
Support post-launch operations by monitoring performance, coordinating with Live Operations or Support teams, and responding to marketplace incidents if needed.
Continuously refine production workflows to improve efficiency and predictability.
7+ years of experience in program management, production, or project management, preferably within software, technology, or gaming environments.
Proven success managing end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives or live service features.
Strong technical acumen and familiarity with concepts such as system design, scalability, availability, and service reliability.
Demonstrated ability to convert business and player goals into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and specifications.
Proficiency with Agile or Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills, capable of managing conflict, presenting complex ideas clearly, and building alignment across teams.
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Experience working in the gaming industry or a strong personal passion for games and understanding of player engagement systems.
Prior experience managing or supporting marketplace, in-game economy, or e-commerce features.
Familiarity with live operations, incident management, and performance monitoring for high-availability systems.
Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP).
Experience coordinating cross-functional or distributed global teams.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic-based ranges for Washington state: $85,000 to $95,000 annually. The final salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may fall outside this range.
