JOB SUMMARY
As a Data Developer IV, you'll be responsible implementation of data services and modification and enhacement of data architecture, automation and planning.
WHAT OUR DATA DEVELOPERS ENJOY MOST

  • Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Implement data services, data structure/models and data movement infrastructures
  • Provide and implement preventative solutions and troubleshoots data job failures, including but not limited to error handling, data manipulation and I/O processing
  • Implement database concepts and practices, including definition and query language
  • Modify, enhance, and influence requirements and architecture specifications of data warehousing systems and/or processing infrastructure
  • Implement solutions with stakeholder teams to design, implement, and support end to end data solutions, across multiple platforms, environments, domains, and locations
  • Work closely with internal staff, vendors, consultants, and external partners to quickly identify and resolve data integration
  • Independently participate in development of reporting processes, programs, and solutions as per established standards


Required Qualifications
Required Education

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, operations research and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience:
    • ETL experience - 2+ years
    • Experience with SQL, Shell Script, Python, JSON - 2+ years
    • Data integration experience - 2+ years
    • Data visualization experience (Tableau, Alterx, Microstrategy) - 2+ years
    • Data/Software engineering experience - 2+ years
  • Technical Skills:
    • Experience with building use cases and providing development support to data scientists and data engineers
    • Experience with data lake - all data sources - building out data sets for use cases
    • Experience with building SQL databases and tables
    • Experience with querying and designing efficient warehousing structures
    • Intermediate knowledge of Data Tools including querying, scripting, analysis, ETL, and command line interfaces
    • Intermediate knowledge of reporting Development and visualization design
    • Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Python (YAML - if applicable)
    • Intermediate knowledge of Data Tools including querying, scripting, analysis, ETL, and command line interfaces
    • Knowledge of Charter's product data sources and data pipelines
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to apply appropriate level of data maintenance, data quality control and validation of code, tools, and models as directed
    • Ability to perform in-depth and independent research and analysis with some oversight from the manager
  • Work Conditions:
    • Office Environment
    • This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work model (combination of in-office and remote days)

The base pay for this position generally is between
$88,200.00 and $156,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
