Data Engineer

Responsibilities

-Assist in understanding and analyzing client's business requirements to support effective data solutions.

-Collaborate in recommending appropriate modern data stack tools for clients based on their specific needs.

-Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.

-Create and optimize data models to support client reporting and analytics needs.

-Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration and visualization.

-Participate in client communications to support project updates and address issues or concerns.

-Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging technologies to assist in improving data engineering processes.

Skills Required

• 1-4 years of experience in data engineering/analytics, with a proven track record of successfully delivering end-to-end data solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience with data warehouse platforms like Snowflake and Google BigQuery is highly desirable; familiarity with cloud platforms such as GCP, and AWS is a plus.
• Experience with modern data stack tools (such as fivetran,dbt, census) is highly desirable.
•  Proficiency in one of the BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Preset/Superset, Metabase .
• Familiarity with Airflow, Databricks, and event tracking tools such as Heap, Segment, and Rudderstack is nice to have.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new challenges.
• Great communication skills and the ability to proactively engage with client capable of effective collaboration with team members and clients.
• Getting things done, knowing how to unblock yourself, communicating, and engaging with customers proactively.
