Sysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.
The Opportunity:
We are currently on the lookout for a Data Management Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data for consistency, accuracy, and conformity with business data standards and rules; ensuring data entered meets defined data governance policies and procedures. You will be required to execute Metadata/MDM standards and lineage documentation, data cleansing/enrichment, and perform data quality monitoring capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Adhering to Metadata management standards and implementation of data standards and business rules
Implementing data profiling and standardization and data enrichment
Data cleansing and conformance to application data standards
Executing data standards across systems of record to systems of reference
Profiling key data assets against aligned business rules and standards
Data planning and standardization especially with Data Stewards
Monitoring data quality and working with Data Stewards to resolve data issues
Working collaboratively in the development of data governance policies and procedures
Participating in the data governance roadmap, change management, and rollout activities
Working with key stakeholders to provide resolution with Data Stewards
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, and 3-5 years of experience in developing enterprise grade data processing, data cleansing/enrichment, and data quality monitoring capabilities
A strong background in data management, data sharing and Ops (Tableau, Python, SQL)
Experience in processing large volumes of data for enterprise grade initiatives
Working experience in a Scrum Agile delivery environment and with Data Management Service practices
Experience in an agile environment and aligning POD members on technical vision and path to implementation
A strong desire to continue to grow your skillset
Strong communication skills that are influential and convincing
