You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time.
Position Purpose:
- Building and validating predictive or explanatory models using call center and CRM datasets.
- Performing exploratory data analysis to identify key drivers of performance metrics.
- Collaborating with data team, and business leaders to translate findings into actionable insights.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction and analysis (Databricks is also preferred).
- Curiosity, initiative, and collaborative mindset when working across cross-functional
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning fundamentals, and data storytelling.
- Analytical resilience – ability to work through ambiguity and data quality challenges.
- Communication and translation – clearly linking data insights to business value.
- Technical adaptability – quickly learning new tools, data models, and processes.
Additional Details:
Location: Can work in any of the 50 US States.
Remote(summer): 40/hrs. a week, 12 week program (May-August2026)
Pay Range :$21-30/hr. based on background.
