Provides on-call support and travels abroad three to four times annually as business needs require.

We are looking for a DBA & DevOps Engineer who combines strong database expertise with a passion for automation, CI/CD, containerized environments, and operational excellence.

As a Cognyter, you will:
- Design, deploy, automate, and maintain large-scale database platforms.
- Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for database and infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Build automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, backup, recovery, and upgrades.
- Work closely with R&D, Architecture, DevOps, and Product teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot complex production and performance issues across distributed environments.
- Evaluate new technologies and participate in technology research and POCs
Your toolbox
- 3-5 years of hands-on DBA experience.
- Strong experience with Linux environments.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities (Bash, Python, or similar).
- strong experience with SQL Server
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized platforms.
- Experience with performance tuning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with one or more of the following databases: PostgreSQL, Greenplum, CockroachDB, ClickHouse, Sybase ASE / IQ, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices is a strong advantage.
