AI Engineer with Gen AI/ Agentic AI Experience

About the Role

Seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer with hands-on experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Agentic AI to build scalable, enterprise-grade AI solutions. The role involves working across the AI lifecycle, from solution design and model development to deployment and business adoption.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Build and optimize GenAI applications leveraging LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI agents.
• Develop intelligent workflows and autonomous agents to automate business processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineers to identify and implement AI use cases.
• Evaluate, fine-tune, and monitor ML and GenAI models for performance and reliability.
• Develop reusable frameworks, accelerators, and best practices for AI adoption.
• Support production deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of AI solutions.

Mandatory skills & experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in AI/ML solution development and deployment.
• Strong expertise in Python and machine learning development.
• Hands-on experience with supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Hands-on experience building AI Agents and Agentic AI solutions using modern orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search concepts.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in Computer Vision, NLP, Recommendation Systems, or Time Series Forecasting.
• Relevant certifications in AI/ML, Generative AI, Azure, AWS, or GCP will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Responsible AI, AI Governance, and Model Explainability.
