As a Deployment Engineer in our Limassol team, you’ll be part of a global deployment and integration group responsible for preparing, testing, and deploying Cognyte’s advanced GSM, UMTS, LTE, and NR (5G) systems.
You’ll play a critical role across the full project lifecycle — from supporting pre-sales activities, through system preparation and validation in Cyprus, to customer deployment and post-installation support.
As a Cognyter you will:
- Deploy and integrate systems at customer sites and remotely, ensuring successful installations and configurations.
- Conduct end-user training and Acceptance Tests (FAT/SAT) for our telecom and intelligence solutions.
- Manage projects end-to-end — from initiation and planning through deployment and acceptance.
- Provide Tier-3 technical support (software and hardware) to resolve complex issues quickly and effectively.
- Document project activities — including configurations, installation reports, and test results — with precision.
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Product, and Support teams to ensure seamless implementation and continuous improvement.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide ongoing operational support as part of the deployment team.
- Travel globally to support project rollouts (approximately 30–40% travel expected).
- Continuously refine deployment methodologies, automation tools, and team best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities by providing technical expertise, conducting demos or PoCs, and contributing to system design and proposals.
- Prepare, configure, and test systems in Cyprus prior to shipment, ensuring full functionality, compliance, and readiness for deployment.
Requirements
For that mission you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Solid technical foundation with hands-on experience in system deployment, integration, or testing.
- Excellent understanding of Windows OS, networking, and IT systems (Linux experience is a plus).
- Proven customer-facing or pre-sales technical experience.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills — able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with customers and internal teams.
- Self-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented approach with a sense of ownership and accountability.
Other requirements:
· Experience in Telecom / Wireless Communications (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR/5G).
- Knowledge of RF principles, network testing, or lab instrumentation.
- Customer service or technical training background.
- Fluency in additional languages (beyond English).
Familiarity with virtualization, IP networking, or security systems.
