We are seeking a Design Engineer to support the design, development, and enhancement of Severe Service Globe Control Valves and Pressure Seal Valves. The role involves new product development, product improvement, testing, validation, certification support, and collaboration with global engineering teams to achieve business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop new globe valve products and improve existing product lines.
Lead concept development, prototype creation, testing, and validation activities.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing teams for sample and prototype development.
Support product certifications such as PED, SIL, and participate in relevant audits.
Collaborate with global product engineering teams to implement best design practices.
Conduct design reviews, verification, and validation activities.
Develop and execute product testing and validation plans.
Prepare and maintain engineering documentation in compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards.
Manage design data using PLM/EPDM systems.
Contribute to intellectual property generation and protection initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE/B.Tech).
4–6 years of experience in design and development of industrial process control valves or related products.
Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, and valve engineering principles.
Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PLM/EPDM systems.
Knowledge of ASME, API, EN standards, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Familiarity with metallurgy, heat treatment, PTFE/O-rings, coatings, and plating processes is preferred.
Strong analytical and engineering problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
