We’re looking for a talented Development Manager, experienced in managing development teams and working with ERP/Accounts Receivable workflows, who has a desire to join a rapidly growing, leading payment software company. As the first hire in the new office location, this Development Manager will have the opportunity to help establish and lead the development team and initial IT setup in our brand new office location in Pune, India. The role will require you to work collaboratively with US-based Agile team members such as Product Owners, IT, UX/UI Designers, QAs, and upper management, as well as our in-house Customer Support team and clients.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the development of 20+ products, ensuring they align with business objectives as spearheaded from Irvine, CA office
  • Lead the opening of Pune, India office from a technical and IT standpoint, and play instrumental role in the hiring and establishing of development department
  • Ensure open communication and expectations throughout projects by holding regular meetings with Chief Product Officer, Product Manager, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Security Officer, QA Manager, Product Owners, and UX/UI Design Manager.
  • Ensure a seamless information flow between multiple parties, including the US-based product owners, design team, software engineers, and clients
  • Help establish and enforce KPIs and department goals for offshore development/IT team
  • Spearhead the set up and maintenance of essential IT infrastructure for our new location, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware (until a dedicated IT manager can be hired as the team grows)
  • Collaborate with US-based Chief Security Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and IT team to handle local business-critical IT tasks and systems administration, as well as hardware inventory until dedicated IT manager is brought on board
  • Contribute to the execution of strategic plans for the business
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all technical and product activities between offshore office in India and headquarters in Irvine, CA USA
  • This role would require working partially during US hours (8 am - 11 am Pacific Time USA).

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in financial/ERP applications.
  • 5+ years of experience in Full-Stack .NET programming required.
  • Experience developing and working with APIs.
  • Mastery of C# in the .Net Core framework required.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud is required.
  • Experience managing a large team of developers for multiple products at once, required.
  • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions
  • Strong object-oriented coding skills, with the ability to work with multi-layered, loosely coupled, service-oriented libraries and applications.
  • This position requires a flexible work schedule, availability of overtime during surges in workload, and strong organizational, coordination, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Requires ability to work independently, be proactive, goal-orientated, a quick learner, and a team player.
  • Database design experience required.
  • DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrates good working knowledge of SOA - Web services, WebAPI and WCF technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ADO.NET, TSQL and stored procedure development.
  • Software development experience in BlazorUI, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS a plus.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or assistance to complete tasks.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possesses Enterprise development experience.
