Job DescriptionThe Technical Lead / Development Manager (10+Years Exp) will be responsible for defining the technical roadmap, leading and mentoring a team of developers, guiding them in best practices, reviewing code, and advising on technical architecture and innovation to enhance a growing knowledge management platform. This person will spearhead the adoption of technology, product enhancements, and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance, feedback, and support to foster growth and effective collaboration.
- Design and maintain a strategic technical roadmap aligned with product goals, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Oversee product development cycles, ensuring timely delivery of quality releases and efficient sprint management.
- Review and approve code and architecture, ensuring adherence to coding standards, scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Identify opportunities for technical innovation and adoption of new tools, frameworks, or methodologies to drive product excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Product, QA, and Design—to deliver feature-rich, reliable solutions.
- Develop schedules, delegate tasks, and track team performance using metrics and feedback processes.
- Conduct technical reviews, troubleshoot issues, and develop contingency plans for project risks.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technology advancements, recommending modern features and enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement and technical decision-making across teams.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, Development Manager, or similar role in software development
- Deep understanding of modern architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
- Strong coding skills in relevant languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, React).
- Experience with code reviews, performance management, and team mentoring.
- Ability to drive roadmap creation, track metrics, and align product development with business objectives.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Passion for innovation and keeping up-to-date with new technologies.

- Prior experience with knowledge management systems or SaaS platforms.
