Overview: As a DevOps Tools Administrator and Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in configuring and managing DevOps pipeline systems, ensuring efficient data pipelines, and providing valuable insights through KPI dashboards. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and enhance decision-making.
Responsibilities:
DevOps Pipeline Configuration:

Configure and maintain DevOps tools such as Jira and Github.

Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient workflows.

Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues.
Data Pipeline Management:
-
Establish and manage data pipelines into AWS QuickSight.
-
Integrate data from various sources, including DevOps systems, SaaS application billing data feeds (including AWS CUR data), and system availability monitoring systems.

Ensure data accuracy, security, and timely updates.
KPI Dashboard Design and Implementation:
-
Design and build KPI dashboards for DevOps and developer productivity measures.

Create dashboards for system uptime, reliability, and cloud hosting costs.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure relevant metrics are tracked.
Ad-Hoc Data Analysis:

Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support management decision-making.

Extract insights from data to drive process improvements and strategic initiatives.

Present findings to relevant teams and leadership.
Independence and Autonomy:

Work independently, taking ownership of tasks and projects.

Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.

Collaborate effectively with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, data analysis, or related roles.

Proficiency in DevOps tools (Jira, Github), AWS QuickSight, and data integration.

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-
Self-motivated and adaptable to changing requirements.
Desired Experience:
-
Familiarity with the DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) framework.

Previous exposure to cloud hosting cost optimization.
-
Experience working with system uptime and reliability metrics.
-
Functional knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation. Python preferred.
- Experience with metrics/monitoring with frameworks such as OpenSearch, Grafana, or similar.
