Manage and improve AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Docker and Kubernetes deployments, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, security, and application reliability. The role includes Terraform or CloudFormation automation, deployment lifecycle management across multiple environments, Linux troubleshooting, incident investigation, cost optimization, DevSecOps practices, and collaboration with development, QA, and product teams.
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with 3–4 years of experience to manage and improve our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, monitoring, and application reliability.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, Git, and infrastructure automation. The candidate will work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable application deployments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud & Infrastructure
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Work with services such as:
- EC2
- S3
- RDS
- ECR
- CloudFront
- IAM
- VPC
- Route 53
- CloudWatch
- SES/SNS
• Configure and maintain secure networking, IAM roles, security groups, and access policies.
• Monitor infrastructure capacity, availability, and performance.
• Optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud costs.
2. CI/CD
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Automate:
Build
Unit/integration test execution
Docker image creation
Security scanning
Deployment
Rollback
• Implement deployment strategies such as rolling, blue-green, or canary deployments.
• Maintain separate deployment workflows for Dev, QA, Staging, and Production.
3. Docker & Kubernetes
• Build and maintain optimized Dockerfiles and Docker images.
• Manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Work with:
- Deployments
- Services
- ConfigMaps
- Secrets
- Ingress
- Persistent Volumes
- Liveness/Readiness probes
- Resource limits and requests
• Troubleshoot pod failures, CrashLoopBackOff, image-pull issues, networking problems, and resource-related issues.
• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes configuration management is preferred.
4. Infrastructure as Code
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Maintain reusable infrastructure modules and environment-specific configurations.
- Follow Infrastructure-as-Code best practices and maintain infrastructure changes through Git.
5. Monitoring & Logging
• Implement and maintain application and infrastructure monitoring.
• Work with tools such as:
- AWS CloudWatch
- Grafana
- Prometheus
- ELK/OpenSearch
• Configure alerts for:
- CPU/memory utilization
- Disk usage
- Application errors
- Kubernetes failures
- API availability
- Database performance
• Investigate production incidents using logs and monitoring metrics.
6. Security
- Implement DevSecOps practices across CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage secrets securely using AWS Secrets Manager, Parameter Store, Kubernetes Secrets, or equivalent.
- Implement vulnerability scanning for Docker images and dependencies.
- Maintain least-privilege IAM policies.
- Apply security best practices to AWS and Kubernetes environments.
- Assist with SSL/TLS certificate management and security headers.
7. Linux & Troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on experience with Linux systems.
• Troubleshoot:
- CPU/memory issues
- Disk utilization
- Network connectivity
- DNS issues
- Process failures
- Application deployment failures
- Container issues
• Comfortable using shell commands and writing basic Bash scripts.
8. Git & Release Management
- Strong understanding of Git and Git branching strategies.
- Manage release and deployment workflows across multiple environments.
- Support controlled promotion of changes from Dev → QA → Staging → Production.
- Assist development teams with deployment and environment-related issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of hands-on DevOps/Cloud engineering experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture.
- Ability to work closely with developers, QA, and technical leadership.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Expected Experience
The candidate should be capable of independently handling:
Developer commits → CI pipeline → Build/Test → Docker image → Container registry → Kubernetes deployment → Monitoring → Production support
and should be comfortable troubleshooting the complete deployment lifecycle.
