Your key responsibilities
- Building complex CI/CD pipelines for cloud native PaaS services such as Databases, Application, Compute in Google Cloud Platform
- Building and setting up Cloud instances like GKE , Cloud function
- Building deployment pipeline with GitHub CI (Actions)
- Building terraform codes to deploy infrastructure as a code
- Working with deployment and troubleshooting of Docker, GKE, OpenShift and Cloud Run
- Configuring software to be monitored by Geneos/New Relic,
- Configuring logging and monitoring in GCP
- Ensuring all SDLC and Release processes are followed and take proactive actions as and when necessary
Your skills and experience
- CI/CD pipeline creation and management using tools like TeamCity / Jenkins / UCD, Git Actions, or Cloud Build Terraform
- Monitoring and logging.
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Openshift / Kubernetes (GKE).
- Hands-on experience with core cloud services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL
- Proficiency in networking concepts in GCP, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, and Cloud Load Balancing.
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Cloud Functions.
- Familiarity with Cloud Deployment Manager or Terraform for GCP infrastructure.
- Good to have experience in Scripting with Python / Bash & basic knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Git and code repositories like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
- Knowledge of securing cloud environments, including encryption, firewalls, and identity management.
Good to have:
- Understanding of cloud identity and access
- Hands-on experience in development of large-scale enterprise systems
- Working knowledge of Linux commands and shell/python scripting
- Certification in Google professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Knowledge of procuring and ordering ssl certificates.
