Your Key Responsibilities
- Work with other engineers to support our adoption of continuous delivery, automating the building, packaging, testing and deployment of applications. Create the tools required to deploy and manage applications effectively in production, with minimal manual effort
- Help teams to adopt modern delivery practices, such as extensive use of automated testing, continuous integration, more frequent releases, blue/green deployment, canary releases, etc.
- Configure and manage code repositories, continuous builds, artifact repositories, cloud platforms and other tools
- Contribute towards a culture of learning and continuous improvement within your team and beyond. Share skills and knowledge in a wide range of topics relating to Devops and software delivery
Your skills and experience
- Good knowledge Springboot application (build and deployment).
- Setting up application on any cloud environment ( GCP will be plus)
- Extensive experience with configuration management tools: Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Helm or similar tools.
- Hands on experience on tools Like UDeploy for Automation
- Extensive experience in understanding networking concept e.g. Firewall, Loadbancing, data transfer
- Extensive experience building CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity or similar.
- Experience with a range of tools and techniques that can be used to make software delivery faster and more reliable such as experience in creating and maintaining automated builds, using tools such as Team City, Jenkins and Bamboo etc and using repositories such as Nexus and Artifactory to manage and distribute binary artefacts.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages, such as Maven, shell Or python.
- Good understanding of git version control systems, branching and merging, etc.
- Good understanding of Release Management, Change management concept.
- Experience working in an agile team, practicing Scrum, Kanban or XP or SAFe
