The DevOps Engineer will define deployment strategies, implement automated security testing, manage Infrastructure as Code, and enhance security practices. Responsibilities include collaborating with compliance teams, setting up monitoring tools, and mentoring development teams.
Job Description:
Experience: 4-8 Years
Key Responsibility
- Define and maintain deployment strategy that enable continuous delivery and zero-downtime releases in App Service Environment and AKS.
- Implement automated security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA, IaC scanning) in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins pipelines.
- Integrate vulnerability management tools (SonarQube, OWASP Dependency Check)
- Define and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible
- Implement security baselines and policies using Azure Policy and Defender for Cloud.
- Manage secrets and credentials securely using Azure Key Vault and Managed Identity.
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging pipelines with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Datadog, and Log Analytics.
- Define metrics and dashboards for application and security observability
- Participate in post-incident reviews and threat modeling
- Compliance reporting (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.)
- Work closely with Risk and Compliance teams to define security KPIs.
- Collaborate with architects to evolve security reference architectures.
- Mentor development teams to adopt secure coding practices.
- Implementing AI-Assisted DevSecOps
