Job Description: DevOps Must-Have Qualifications & Skills Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Skills

• Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

• Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)

• Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)

• Scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration

Experience

• 6+ years of experience leading outsourced or offshore DevOps teams

• Proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines in production environments

Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills Education

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Systems Engineering, or related field.

• Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.

Skills

• Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures

• Experience with cost optimization and cloud billing management

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)
