Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled, hands-on DevOps Platform Architect who has a proven history in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing developer platforms. In this key role, you will support CyberArk’s R&D teams by delivering advanced solutions utilizing the latest in cloud and DevOps technologies. The position calls for architectural leadership, deep technical expertise, and hands-on development to build and maintain a robust internal developer platform.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of our Internal Developer Platform, ensuring scalability, security, and a streamlined developer experience.
Incorporate security best practices into every stage of platform development, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and robust protection throughout the development lifecycle.
Architect and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable microservices systems primarily on AWS. AWS Certified Solutions Architect credentials are a must; GCP knowledge is an added advantage.
Champion Infrastructure as Code and automation, utilizing Terraform and Ansible to streamline processes.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, integrating advanced monitoring and security solutions (Synk, Wiz, Datadog).
Promote best practices that enhance developer productivity and foster a culture of innovation across engineering teams.
Mentor and advise engineering teams, facilitating knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Proactively identify and resolve complex technical challenges to ensure platform reliability and stability.

QualificationsMandatory Skills & Experience
At least 8 years of hands-on DevOps experience in product, consulting, or banking environments. Applicants with over 10 years and more, should show a progression from software development to DevOps.
Architect-level experience is preferred; candidates currently working as an Architect are especially desirable.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect is required, with practical knowledge in designing, deploying, and managing AWS environments. Familiarity with GCP is beneficial.
Demonstrated expertise in microservices architecture, scalable systems design, and secure infrastructure strategies.
Strong proficiency in Python (mandatory) and Groovy (mandatory) scripting; experience with Bash and PowerShell is a plus.
Extensive hands-on experience using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Proven ability to develop and manage Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
Advanced skills in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Experience integrating and managing security tools such as Synk and Wiz.
Familiarity with Datadog for comprehensive system monitoring and observability.
Preferred Skills (Good to have)
Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Active involvement in the open-source community.
Background in highly regulated sectors, such as Product and Technology, Banking Financial services /Consulting.
