SUMMARY:
The Digital Technology (DT) Leader – India provides operational leadership for DT services supporting approximately $40 million in regional revenue. This role is accountable for delivering technology solutions aligned with Enterprise DT strategy, overseeing India’s DT offshore shared services in support of global DT operations, and enabling international digital technology and onsite Manufacturing Operations in India. This position will be reporting to the Segment CIO.

The DT Leader builds and develops a high-performing team, drives operational excellence, manages budgets, ensures compliance, and partners with business stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes. This role fosters a culture rooted in DT Competencies—customer obsession, agility, results, and entrepreneurship—while demonstrating Oshkosh leadership behaviors.

The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience working with U.S.-based teams and the ability to communicate effectively across local and global audiences, ensuring smooth collaboration in a matrixed global environment.
 

YOUR IMPACT:
•    Execute DT strategy within the India region, ensuring alignment with global DT standards, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives.
•    Provide management oversight to India’s DT offshore shared services model to support global DT service delivery.
•    Ensure compliance with DT policies, cybersecurity requirements, risk controls, and audit standards while maintaining strong operational performance.
•    Partner with business leaders to deliver technology solutions that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and business outcomes.
•    Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to maximize ROI and operational value.
•    Drive innovation, process improvement, and service optimization across DT operations, tools, and platforms.
•    Build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Evaluate emerging technology trends to identify opportunities for modernization or enhanced capabilities.
•    Support implementation of DT best practices, governance frameworks, and global operating models.
•    Serve as the lead negotiator for India DT vendor management, ensuring alignment with enterprise DT services and cost optimization.
•    Perform other duties as assigned to support DT and broader business priorities.
 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
•    Ten (10) or more years of experience in DT or related fields.
•    Seven (7) or more years of management or team leadership experience.
•   Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across local and global stakeholders.
•    Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, financial planning, budgeting, agile, scrum, data analytics, business acumen, and design thinking.
•    Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and leadership skills.
 

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or global/matrixed environments.
•    Experience driving digital transformation or service excellence initiatives.
•    Experience with cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms, and data analytics & AI solutions.
